The Deal Watch Blog was launched, along with its weekly companion column of the same name in the Daily Report, nearly three years ago to offer an up-to-date format for covering deals, trends and trendsetters in corporate law. The scope is broad – if an Atlanta lawyer is working on a deal, or if it involves an Atlanta company, we’re on it. The blog touches on an array of legal practice areas: general corporate, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, commercial real estate, bankruptcy, securities offerings, corporate governance, white collar crime and internal investigations, public finance, fund formation, and developments in the energy, healthcare, insurance and technology industries. In short, if it involves transactional lawyers, we cover it.
The Deal Watch Blog will also add a new feature to the Daily Report's coverage of business law, which features regular Q&A's with Atlanta corporate attorneys, in-house counsel and investment bankers.
